Jet Skis, or Personal Water Crafts, are great vehicles. They are affordable and easy to transport, making them ideal for both recreational and non-recreational uses. There are many popular brands and many manufacturers with different battery specifications. Below is a look at some of the major brands, their products, and jet ski batteries.

Arctic Cat - Arctic Cat is a manufacturer of snowmobiles and other equipment. Their personal watercraft model, the Tiger Shark, is not currently on the market, but is still used by many. It uses a 650cc battery which can be purchased from battery retailers.

Bombardier - Bombardier is one of the top personal watercraft manufacturers. They are the creators of Sea-Doo watercraft. When purchasing Sea-Doo batteries, there are some differences to look for. Before 1993, the Sea-Doo used standard 12 V spillable batteries which require special shipment. From 1994 on, there are several options including the standard, but also available is the Odyssey and a Sealed MF, or maintenance free battery. These batteries do not require special shipping and have higher safety ratings, though they are considerably more expensive.

Kawasaki - Kawasaki is the maker of the brand Jet Ski. Depending on the engine type and model year there are many different types of batteries available, just as with the Sea-Doo. Engine sizes can range anywhere from 300cc to 1100cc.

Polaris - Polaris is one of the number one manufacturers of recreational vehicles. While they created personal watercraft for a time, their models are no longer on the market. Just as with the Arctic Cat model, the batteries are still available. Polaris has several models of personal watercraft, and battery type depends on engine size, model, and year.

Yamaha - Yamaha is creator of the Wave Runner personal watercraft. Just as with the Sea-Doo and the Jet Ski, there are many model types and engine sizes; therefore, batteries should be purchased accordingly. Wave Runners are available in engine sizes from 500cc to 1200cc and use 12 V batteries.
